Office of the Ombudsman of Trinidad and Tobago

Mandate

To assist individuals in seeking redress against administrative injustice. The office enshrined by Republican Constitution of 1976 and the office was established on 6/12/77.

Function

The principal function of the Ombudsman is the investigation of complaints of maladministration against government departments and agencies.
