Discriminatory sexual offences laws impact the lives of many Commonwealth citizens, disproportionately affecting women, children and LGBTI people. In this case study of the Seychelles, Human Dignity Trust examines how the country successfully reformed the law criminalising private consensual same-sex sexual activity between adults, in the context of a contemporary and deeply religions African society.
