Communicating Human Rights

Communication is vital to the work we undertake as National Human Rights Institutions. To be compliant with the Paris Principles we are required to educate and promote human rights across a range of platforms such as print and online media publications and resources, training and capacity building as well as advising and assisting the government. Beyond this, engaging with individuals and communities, specifically those who are vulnerable, as well as civil society organisations, industry, academia and other NHRIs is key to ensuring our work is informed, relevant, appropriate and effective.
